Who This Is For
Who This Program Is For
This mentorship is designed for credentialed and licensed physical therapists practicing in canine physical therapy who want:
- Ongoing expert guidance beyond coursework
- Support for complex or unclear cases
- Greater confidence with imaging-informed decision-making
- Clearer referral thresholds and co-management strategies
- Continued professional growth through case-based learning
When This Mentorship Becomes Essential
Most clinicians join the CanineIQ Mentorship Program when they encounter a case that leaves them asking:
“Is this patient appropriate for physical therapy, or should I refer back to the veterinarian?”
“Does this radiograph change how I should approach physical therapy?”
“Is this post-operative progression normal?”
“Should this case be improving more quickly?”
“Am I missing something in this presentation?”
Through weekly mentorship sessions with a board-certified veterinary orthopedic surgeon, clinicians gain expert insight, collaborative case discussion, and the confidence to make informed clinical decisions in real-world canine cases.
The CanineIQ Mentorship Program ensures you don’t have to navigate those questions alone.

How It Works
How Mentorship Sessions Work
Each week, members join a live mentorship session where real canine cases are discussed in a collaborative clinical environment.
Clinicians are encouraged to submit cases and questions ahead of time so they can be reviewed during the session.
Typical discussions include:
- Clinical reasoning and differential considerations
- Interpretation of imaging
- Medical/surgical considerations that influence physical therapy
- Treatment progression and patient management
- When referral back to a veterinarian is appropriate
All sessions are recorded and added to the mentorship library, where recordings are organized by pathology for future reference.
